PSP Pool Safety Cover
Protect your backyard swimming pool through cold Manitoba winters with a heavy-duty PSP Pool Safety Cover. Canadian manufacturer PSP Fabricating builds these mesh covers in Barrie, Ontario to meet strict ASTM F1346-91 safety standards. To help local pool owners, Crown Spas & Pools supplies Winnipeg homeowners with stock rectangular sizes and custom-built pool covers.
PSP crafts each cover from dense, UV-treated mesh fabric that filters rainwater and melting snow into your pool. Because this porous mesh lets water pass through, it prevents heavy pooling on top while blocking leaves, twigs, and debris. In addition, computer-controlled cutting systems guarantee precise panel alignment for clean deck installation.
Built for Strength and Deck Anchoring
Commercial-grade hardware anchors the cover securely to keep children and pets safe year-round. For instance, flush brass deck anchors screw down flat against your concrete patio during the swimming season. Meanwhile, heavy-duty stainless steel springs maintain constant grid tension, while protective spring covers prevent deck scraping. Crown Spas & Pools also provides specialized wood deck anchors and lawn stakes for custom deck layouts.
Stock and Custom Sizing Options
PSP stocks standard rectangular cover sizes for quick turnaround during the fall winterization season. Specifically, standard inventory spans sizes from 12×24 feet up to 20×40 feet with standard 5×5 foot grid patterns.
However, custom pool shapes and step configurations require precise A-B point measurements. Before ordering, review our Pool Safety Cover Measuring Guide to capture your exact layout. Our team at Crown Spas & Pools handles measuring and layout planning for Manitoba pool owners so PSP can build your custom cover.
Simple Pool Safety Cover Installation
Installers set corner anchors first using 3/4-inch drill holes in concrete deck surfaces. Next, tensioning straps compress the stainless steel springs by 10 to 20 percent to maintain a taut surface. As a result, this spring compression absorbs heavy snow loads and prevents wind lifting during winter storms. Follow our step-by-step Pool Safety Cover Installation Guide for complete deck fitting instructions.
